Orange County Film Society

The Orange County Film Society is a year-round membership program that hosts advance screenings of some of the year's most anticipated films.

These screenings take place all over Orange County and have screened several Academy Award-winning films, including Coda, 1917, and Parasite.

As part of the programming department, it was my job to help negotiate and obtain rights to these  film screenings, as well as work on getting talent to attend and participate in Q&A sessions.

Joker (2019)

Hosted at the beautiful Lot Theater in Corona Del Mar. This sold-out event featured a video introduction from director Todd Philips, who took the time to thank OCFS for screening the film and also thanked our audience for attending.

A Quiet Place (2018)

Had the privilege of honoring writers and producers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods and presenting them with an Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking award at Regency Theatres in South Coast Village. Both Beck and Woods were gracious enough to chat with the audience after the film for a quick Q&A.

The Big Sick (2017)

In collaboration with Variety, our screening of The Big Sick had a very special Q&A with the film's writers and stars Kumail Nanjiani and Emil V. Gordon. Hosted by Variety's Jenelle Riley, this event turned out to be an unforgettable night for our OCFS members.
